DECEMBER SPECIAL EVENTS

New for 2010, all this month check out our Festival of Fair Trade Gifts made by skilled artisans from around the world and distributed by Ten Thousand Villages

At The Good Earth we believe that fair trade will make a better world someday.
When all people earn a living wage for their work peace and justice
will prevail over greed and war.

So we invite you to the Hamlet of Hope for our Fair Trade Festival Sale
November 27 thru December 24

Ninety percent of the procedes will benefit the non-profit organization
Ten Thousand Villages which helps people in third world countries
rise out of poverty. The remaining 10% of the proceeds will benefit
The Rhode Island Community Food Bank.

The special people on your holiday list deserve a gift of fair trade.
The products are hand crafted using indigenous or re-purposed materials.
These high quality gifts will be a quiet, soulful reminder of the way
life should be; that it is quality not quantity that matters.

Our selection includes gifts for young and not as young alike. Here are a few examples.

Sat. 12/4 West Bay Land Trust board memers will be on hand for the launch of the New Website.

The West Bay Land Trust will formally launch its new website (www.westbaylandtrust.org) Dec. 4 with a reception at The Good Earth Organic Gardening Center, at 1800 Scituate Ave.

Those attending will meet the land trust’s new president and board members. The reception will be from 1 to 5 p.m. and will coincide with The Good Earth’s Hamlet of Hope Fair Trade Festival Sale.

Please join us and learn all about the great achievements of the land trust here in Cranston.

Sat. 12/11 at 1:00 P.M.
