(almost) Fall without

HARDY MUMS & ASTERS

let's not forget all of the

GORGEOUS
ORNAMENTAL
GRASSES!

now's the time for them to shine

Pumpkins like people come in many shapes, colors and sizes.

We'll have a great selection for you this year.

There's nothing that says Fall like the golden colored bales of Straw.

As always, here's our reminder that Fall is also
feeding time for your lawns and gardens.
A low nitrogen fertilizer applied now will help to bulk up the root systems of your plants, helping them to survive the coming winter and come up
healthy and full next spring.

The philosophy of growing turf (or any thing else) ecologically is simply that
a biologically healthy soil grows healthy plants, so...

“feed the soil and the soil will feed the plants”
(The organic gardener’s mantra)

While you’re tending the lawn, this is also good time to get your beds into shape, clean out those pesky weeds, add some fertilizer and top off the mulch to keep the weeds out and the moisture in.

Stop by or call us for information about how you can begin an all natural
lawn/garden care program using North Country Organics exceptional fertilizers.

EXTRA EXTRA... READ ALL ABOUT IT

The Good Earth has been chosen by The Northern
Rhode Island Conservation District as the
Conservation Farm of the Year for 2009!!!!!

We received this award because of the work we've done over the years in co-operation with the NRCS (Natural Resource Conservation Service).

We're very proud to have to have been selected from the many farms doing good things here in RI. Sustainable farming practices which preserve the environmental integrity and ecological diversity of our land are ideas we believe make sense for us all to engage in.

We're also very grateful for all of the support that we have gotten from you, our customers, thank you.

We couldn't make the good things grow without you.

Peace,

Joyce & John
